Piping / Mechanical Engineering & Design
QUANTUM's Piping / Mechanical Design group utilizes Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Recap for our project services. We use laser scanning technology to do field work, reducing time in the field and achieving more accurate field data. Using Plant 3D and Navisworks to design piping systems, coordinate clash detection and generate piping Isometrics we deliver a construction package ready to be fabricated and installed. Piping systems are designed per client standards and gone through Quantum’s Quality Management System before and during the entire work process.
Civil / Structural Engineering
QUANTUM's Civil / Structural Engineering and Design group provides services in the Heavy Industrial base located along the Gulf / Southern United States of America. We work in an Autodesk product family for models and design drawings using data acquired from 3D Laser Scanning Technologies to reduce field time and achieve better, more accurate field data. The Engineering analysis is done using parts of the RISA suite of products. We can provide engineering for many things such as: site preparation, drainage, roadways, geotechnical assistance, shallow and deep foundations, tank farms, process structures, miscellaneous supports, pipe racks, platforms, catwalks, access structures, etc.
Electrical & Instrumental Engineering
QUANTUM’s Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) group provides support across the full E&I project lifecycle, including front-end planning, FEED packages, feasibility and alternative studies, detailed electrical and instrumentation design, and total installed cost estimating. Our services also include shutdown planning with checkout and commissioning support through the start-up project phase. All designs emphasize reliable, code-compliant, and cost-efficient E&I solutions tailored to meet your project’s needs. We bring a vast knowledge of hands-on experience in plant operations which ensures that electrical distribution, instrumentation systems, and control architectures are developed to meet the required performance demands, shorten outage durations, and provide reliable operating systems. Typical projects include site-wide electrical infrastructure assessments and upgrades, instrumentation modernization, and improvements such as lighting system enhancements.
